On a double lot in the heart of Houston’s Southampton neighborhood, this new home was designed around an existing pool and mature Sycamore tree to create a place for the Owner to entertain and relax indoors and outdoors. Privacy from the street is emphasized by a low front entry screened by vertical wood slats. Wood and limestone elements compliment each other while providing warmth and contrasting texture to the exposed steel framing and contemporary aluminum sliding walls.
